Great low gain classic vibe sound. – it tries to faithfully re-create the sound of yesterday, and succeeds too..its breakup is great and warm, its bottom end tight but loose…(if you can make sense of that) – its a great amp for that classic rock vibe.

This is where it gets interesting, This is a modern day equivalent of its original back in the 60’s/70’s, and also what the E-Robot was made to sound like. – I like this equally, its a bit different that the Robot for sure, and has a lot more gain on tap. a bit more sag and a DAMM site heavier!

What you Get…
Well they do Dumble, its sort of, sort of is not. hard to explain, its a terrific amp, but its a lot more tighter than I expected it to be, although its a typical Rock sound by flavor, and they find it hard to break away from that, it is what it is.. just another great amp from a great product line!

Amazing!. let me say that first. possibly the best Plexi ever played, its so full of rich detail, and really delivers that oompf that you would expect…I adore this! however, the tide will change if your on a p90/HB style guitar. it just not do it in that department…don’t get me wrong, it still will sound great. but it really comes to life with the “twang”

Do not let the looks fool you. this is not a modern AD30, it was a mod that you can do from Harry Tileford, who converts new hardware into vintage retro parts.. making it sound, well very different – and indeed, I liked it a lot, great for Lead play, not so hot for chord work as much, but it sings in the blues department very well!..

Hmm Rock seem to always mis-label their products, This is not a metal amp in any way…its gain levels are for sure quite high, but its way to flabby for that, its great at the lower spectrum, very John Mayorish sort of vibe. – they only produced 2 of these, so its very rare and unique!..brilliant!

And the surprise of this pack goes to this amp, I hated the “in the room sound” just sounds pretty awful to be honest.. the boxyness, no groove or vibe. so I nearly did not profile it, as once its miced, (after a LOT of tone searching) I manged to get something so usable and brilliant sounding its almost surprising that this set of profiles came from that amp!..wow! – I love it when this happens!

FANTASTIC! (I play this exclusively with my tele)
